    Chicago, Ill.- The 24th-ranked UIC men's soccer team will hit the road for the first time in the 2007 regular season, beginning a two-match trek away from Flames Field this Saturday evening against BIG EAST opponent Rutgers.

    The Flames (1-0-0) and Scarlet Knights (0-2-0) will meet at 7:00 p.m. Eastern at Yurcak Field.

    This will be the first-ever meeting between the two sides.

    Saturday's match will be the second consecutive match that UIC will play against BIG EAST opposition. UIC downed BIG EAST side Marquette by a 3-1 count last Sunday in the Flames' season opener.

    The Rutgers match also begins a period that will see the Flames play nine of their next 10 matches on the road.
