CHICAGO – The UIC men’s soccer team will take a break from practice on Monday night and compete in an exhibition match against Big Ten-foe Wisconsin.  Play is set to begin at 7 p.m. CT at Flames Field.  UIC will also host Northern Illinois on Saturday at 7 p.m. for its second and final exhibition contest of the 2013 season.

UIC kicks off regular season action at home against Eastern Illinois on Friday, Aug. 30 as the Flames sport a four-game homestand to commence the 2013 slate.  The Flames are piloted by returning All-Horizon League members Jesus Torres, Josh Beard and Thomas Villamil.

Former colleagues will reunite on Monday as current Wisconsin head coach John Trask piloted the Flames’ program from 2005-09 as UIC head coach Sean Phillips served as Trask’s top assistant.
