    Flames Collect Eighth Straight with 3-1 Win Over Drake

    QUICK RECAP:
    The Flames came away with their eighth-consecutive victory after scoring two goals in the final 10 minutes of regulation to take a 3-1 win against Drake at Flames Field. UIC’s victory against Drake marked their 14th on the season, setting a new program record for regular season wins.

    LARGER PICTURE:
    - The Flames ended the season with an overall record of 16-4-0 and a perfect regular season conference record of 7-0-0.
    - The Flames reached the national rankings early in November at No. 23.
    - Senior Aris Zafeiratos scored the game-winning goal against Drake, his second of the season. Zafeiratos tabbed two goals on the season, both of which were game-winners.
    - Senior Slobodan Aleksov recorded his fourth two-goal game of the season in the victory against Drake, and ended the season leading the Flames in goals (10), points (23), shots (62), and shots on goal (29). The Flames captain was named to the NSCAA All-Great Lake Region Third Team, the All-Horizon League First Team and the Horizon League Championship All-Tournament Team.
