    CHICAGO - The UIC men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at Loyola in Horizon League men's soccer action Wednesday night.

    The Flames move to 8-6-3 on the season, with a 2-4-1 mark in Horizon League play. Loyola won its second-straight, improving to 5-11-0, with a 3-5-0 mark in conference action.

    Loyola's James Howe scored an unassisted goal in the 30th minute (29:12) in what turned out to be the game's lone goal and eventual game-winner.

    The Ramblers edged UIC in the shots department, 12-10. Joe Radice attempted a team-high four shots for the Flames, while Eric Frazier took three shots, including two on goal. Goalkeeper Piotr Kikolski turned away three shots by Loyola. Rambler net minder Peter McKeown was forced to make five saves.

    The Flames will wrap up the Horizon League regular season on Saturday, when UIC entertains Milwaukee at Flames Field beginning at 7 p.m. CST.
