After a stellar three-year playing career for the Flames, Charlie Trout has joined the UIC coaching staff as an undergraduate student assistant for the 2010 season.
Trout appeared in 59 matches for the Flames, helping UIC advance to the 2007 NCAA Elite Eight and the 2008 NCAA Sweet 16. The former UIC midfielder and captain scored 12 goals and assisted on 12 others in his three seasons, helping UIC win the 2007 Horizon League Championship and capture the 2008 Horizon League regular season title.
A native of Nottingham, England, Trout resides in Chicago.
