2003: Started in all 19 games for the Flames...part of a defense that allowed a 1.82 goals against average in Horizon League play while posting three shutouts and holding nine opponents to a mere goal...took nine shots, five of them on goal...notched his first career assist and point on Dennis King's second score of the Flames' match against Northern Illinois on Oct. 8th.
2002: Saw action in 16 games for the Flames, starting in 14 outings...did not record a point during the season...took six shots on the year with none on goal...part of a stingy defense that posted six shutouts and held opponents to a goal or less in eight contests.
Prior to UIC: Played one season at Valparaiso University, seeing action in 17 games while starting in six. Crusaders posted a 6-10-1 record in 2001.
Prep/Personal: Four-year varsity letterwinner at University High School in Normal, Ill...helped guide team to sectional and regional titles in each of his four seasons...U-High squad placed third in the state his sophomore season, posting a 19-1 record...has his best season as a senior in 2000, earning All-State, All-City and Chicago Tribune All-State honors after tallying 22 goals and 15 assists, which were both team bests...also earned all-city and all-sectional accolades after his junior season...finished his career with 38 goals and 35 assists...won a national championships with his club squad...son of Barbara and Richard Singer...born on August 19, 1982...majoring in sociology.
