2002: Saw action in goal in five games for the Flames...posted a record of 0-1-2 with a 3.37 goals against average...earned a draw in both of his starts versus DePaul (9/25) and Detroit (10/6)...stopped a season-high eight shots in the Flames' double-overtime draw versus the Titans...made a career-best 22 saves on the year.
2001: Saw action in four games as a sophomore, including the start in goal in the Flames’ Horizon League Tournament opener versus Loyola…was stellar in goal in the outing as UIC advanced with a 3-1 triumph…also saw action in a reserve role in contests versus Eastern Illinois. Cleveland State and Detroit…made one save on the year.
2000: Did not see any game action.
1999: Used the season as a redshirt year…practiced with the squad, but did not see any game action.
Prep/Personal: Lettered four seasons as a goalkeeper for Streamwood High School…owns the school record for career and single-season saves…earned Upstate Eight All-Conference accolades as a junior and senior and was also an honorable mention all-area honoree both years…was named most improved player following his junior year and most valuable player at the conclusion of his senior season…an academic all-conference honoree all four years…born April 21, 1981…son of Gary and Terri Pudwill…majoring in Business Administration.
