INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced today that the University of Illinois at Chicago's UIC Pavilion has been selected as the site of the 2018 NCAA Men's Gymnastics Championships. The three-day competition will be held at the UIC Pavilion in April 2018.

"Having the 2018 NCAA Gymnastics Championship weekend in Chicago is going to be an incredible opportunity to showcase UIC's beautiful campus and Chicago's vibrancy," said Head Men's Gymnastics Coach Charley Nelson.  "A huge debt of gratitude goes to the Chicago Sports Commission for spearheading the bid, and, of course, thank you to UIC Athletic Director Jim Schmidt and UIC Chancellor Paula Allen-Meares for supporting UIC's bid."

This will be the first time the University of Illinois at Chicago will play host to an NCAA Men's Gymnastics National Championship.

Ticket information for the 2018 NCAA Men's Gymnastics Championships will be announced at a later date.
