    The 2010 Mixed Pairs event is in the books as both the men's and women's gymnastics teams kicked off their respective seasons with a friendly inter-squad meet.  

    Five teams consisting of student-athletes from both squads competed against one another as a total of ten events were scored.  The men's events included floor exercise, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars and high bar while the women were judged on the vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise.

    The team consisting of Andrea Skala, Christine Girard, Joseph Hodges, Dave Mohr and Bryan Pusateri were crowned event champions as the group averaged a score of 11.62. 

    The second-place team which featured Emily Lawrence, Rachel Montoya, Emily Fiorilli, Alex Bymaster, Gabi Kadar and Neal Thompson racked up an average score of 11.50.

    Third-place honors went to the team of Cynthia Lemiuex-Guillemette, Jamie Krause, Danielle Reusnow, Lukasz Adamczyk, David Ishida, Jacob Mager and Dan Zerbel.


     

     

    The fourth-place squad consisted of Erin Duggan, Sarah Murray, Christina Gonzalez, Aaron Eyster, Justin Maxwell, Matt Phillips and Gary Soper.

    Fifth-place went Chantel Turk, Karen Morales Mateuse Rybarski, Andrew Arnold, Kyle Voissem, Dan Hutton and Lance Ridenoure.
