CHICAGO - The UIC men's gymnastics team heads into its final home meet of the season Sunday, when it welcomes No. 13 Temple to the Physical Education Building at 1 p.m. (CT). Following the meet, the Flames will honor their senior class of David Ishida, Justin Maxwell, Bryan Pusateri and Dan Zerbel.
UIC returns to the PEB after suffering a 439.200-409.050 loss to No. 4 Ohio State. Despite the loss, the Flames came away with a collection of top scores from Zerbel, Lukasz Adamczyk, Maxwell, Brett Valin and Jason Gaides.
Zerbel produced a pair of bests while competing on floor and horizontal bar, taking second on floor with a season-best 15.500 and second on horizontal bar with a career-best 14.700.
Adamczyk was also able to come away with a second-place finish after tallying a score of 14.800 on pommel horse.
