Men's Gymnastics Hosts Iowa And ASU on Saturday|

Chicago, Ill.- The University of Illinois at Chicago men's gymnastics team looks to continue its record-setting pace this Saturday as they host the fifth-ranked University of Iowa Hawkeyes and the Arizona State University club team at the UIC Physical Education Building beginning at 2 p.m.
The Flames go into Saturday's contest with even more confidence than before after learning that they have cracked the Top Ten in the latest GymInfo national rankings. Their 212.042 team average earned UIC (6-9) a No. 10 national ranking, highlighted by a No. 4 team ranking on floor exercise (36.358).
UIC currently leads the Eastern College Athletic Conference in team average, holding the edge over second-place Army (210.417).
Iowa is fresh off victories over Big Ten rivals Wisconsin and Michigan this past weekend, using a school-record 217.925 to down the Badgers and the Wolverines. The Hawkeyes are No. 5 in the most recent GymInfo rankings with a 216.717.
Arizona State currently averages a 187.917, good for a No. 20 ranking.
The Flames will use this weekend's meet as preparation for an ECAC-filled week, beginning with a home clash against Army on Wednesday, March 17th. UIC then welcomes in all eight ECAC squads for the 2004 ECAC Men's Gymnastics Championships on March 20th and 21st.
