University Park, Pa.- UIC senior Tim Morrison concluded his collegiate career in strong fashion at the 2007 National Collegiate Men's Gymnastics Championships on Friday night, placing 11th overall in the NCAA all-around finals.

Morrison posted a 50.350 in the competition to place 11th. His highest individual event finish was on high bar, where he turned in a 9.150 to place 15th in the event rankings.

The fourth-year standout concludes his career as a 2007 Nissen-Emery Award finalist, the 2007 ECAC Senior Athlete of the Year and the 2007 ECAC high bar champion.

Teammate Anthony May concluded his second year nicely as well, placing 13th in the all-around finals.

The trip to the NCAA finals by both Morrison and May marked the first time since 1980, the first year the UIC men's gymnastics team competed at the Division I level, that UIC had competitors in the national all-around finals.

It was also the first time that UIC featured student-athletes in any type of NCAA men's gymnastics final since Neil Faustino captured All-America status on vault in 2004.
