Harrisonburg, Va.- Behind a season-best 204.850, Tim Morrison's all-around win and victories in five individual events, the UIC men's gymnastics team won the 2006 James Madison Invitational over ECAC rivals JMU and William & Mary on Sunday.

As a team UIC posted meet-bests in the floor exercise (35.900), still rings (34.900), vault (35.900), and high bar (34.500) to post their highest score of the year to date.

Morrison won his third consecutive all-around crown with a 50.050 total tally, winning the high bar title and placing second on floor in the process.

Andrew Krueger continued to dominate on floor exercise with the event win, scoring a 9.4.

Nick Stavros was his usual self, winning the pommel horse with a 9.1 while sharing first place on rings (9.3).

Jeffrey Bill and Bobby Solomon each posted a 9.0 on vault to share first.

UIC now heads to Annapolis, Md., to compete in the 2006 ECAC Championships beginning on Saturday.
