    Chicago, Ill. - The UIC men's gymnastics team scored a respectable 209.85 and defeated Arizona State, but Minnesota posted a lofty 214.95, as the Gophers triumphed in the Flames' home season finale on Saturday afternoon.

    Neil Faustino picked-up the lone UIC win on the day taking the rings competition with a score of 9.65.

    Nick Stavros had two third-place finishes on pommels (9.2) and rings (9.0), while Matt Musielak was second on high bar (8.65) and third on parallel bars (8.7).

    Clay Strother and Gulliermo Alvarez paced Minnesota going one-two in the all-around competition with scores of 54.35 and 54.0, respectively.

    The Flames travel to Army for a Tuesday night match-up on March 18 at 6:00 p.m.
