Chicago, Ill.- The UIC men's gymnastics team swept every individual event to post a season-best 206.550 and sweep its two-meet weekend series against Air Force at the UIC Physical Education Building on Sunday afternoon.

The Flames turned in season-high team tallies on four of six events en route to their best score of the season to date and a 10-point cushion over the visiting Falcons, who scored a 196.5.

Tim Morrison and Nikolai Korepanov won two events apiece to lead the UIC charge.

Morrison scored a 9.4 on floor exercise to win the opening event and capped the meet with his second consecutive 9.0 on high bar to take first place.

Korepanov was amazing once again on still rings, turning in a routine that earned a winning 9.55. He later captured a parallel bars victory with an 8.65.

Joe Ernst won pommel horse for the second straight meet, sharing the title with Anthony May after the two garnered identical 8.4 scores.

May also won vault (8.6) and led the Flames with a second-place all-around score of 51.150.

After the meet the Flames held Senior Day festivities to honor Andy Battad, Mark Seske and Morrison.

UIC heads to Champaign, Ill. on Saturday, March 17th to face Illinois at Huff Hall beginning at 2:00 p.m.
