Men's Gymnastics Posts Season-High Scores Against Illinois

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The UIC men's gymnastics team put up season-high numbers across the board against sister school Illinois, but were unable to topple the third-ranked Illini, falling 357.850-342.800 on Saturday afternoon. Nikolai Korepanov continues to excel on the still rings, winning the event with a 15.050 performance. Other podium finishes for the Flames include Dave Mohr on the pommel horse (14.550, third), Neal Thompson on parallel bars (14.650, second) and Andrew Stover on the horizontal bar (14.650, third). The Flames return to action March 20 when they host Air Force and Nebraska at the PEB at 7 p.m.
