    COLUMBUS, Ohio - The UIC men's gymnastics team had a pair of top-two finishes against Ohio State on Saturday evening, but were unable to defeat the Buckeyes, falling 350.800-333.050.

    Junior Andrew Stover placed second with a season-best 14.150 on the horizontal bar, narrowly being defeated by OSU's Phil Onorato with a 14.200 performance for the event title.

    David Mohr also finished as the pommel horse runner-up with a 14.000 showing for the Flames, and Nikolai Korepanov had a top-five finish on the parallel bars with a 13.750 effort.

    UIC returns to the friendly confines of the PEB when they host Minnesota on Saturday, February 28 at 5 p.m. in conjunction with the women's gymnastics meet against Illinois State.
