Springfield, Mass. - The Mid-Atlantic States have been hit by a flurry of inclement and snowy weather, but the real avalanche took place on Sunday at Springfield College, as the UIC men's gymnastics team rolled over the Pride, 205.55-198.05.

The Flames, winners of two-straight, were paced by sophomore Neil Faustino who won the all-around competition with a score of 51.35.

UIC took the top-two places in each individual event.

On his way to the all-around title, Faustino picked-up wins on floor (8.75), rings (9.05), vault (9.2) and parallel bars (8.55).

Matt Musielak grabbed the pommel horse title with a score of 9.0, while Jonathan Joyce won the high bar competition at 8.75.

Eric Novick had a nice day of competition, competing in the all-around for the first time collegiately. The freshman from New Jersey was second on vault (9.1) finishing with a total of 47.4.

UIC returns home this weekend to take on Illinois on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the UIC Physical Education Building.
