    ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Junior Andrew Stover claimed his first all-around title of the season and the UIC men's gymnastics team picked up a bevy of podium finishes against Big Ten foe Michigan on Saturday night, but were unable to defeat the third-ranked squad, falling 340.050-324.200.

    Stover, a 2008 NCAA all-around finalist as a sophomore, took the all-around title over teammate Ned Kamimura with a season-best 81.550 total.

    Top finishers for the Flames include third-place finishes on the pommel horse for Dave Mohr (13.400), Nickolai Korepanov on the rings (14.000), Bobby Solomon on the vault (15.150), Alex Kadar on the parallel bars (14.150) and Andrew Stover on the horizontal bar (14.100).

    The Flames remain on the road to face Ohio State on Saturday February 21 in Columbus at 7 p.m.
