    Ann Arbor, Mich. - A week after posting a big score in a loss to Ohio State, the ninth-ranked UIC men's gymnastics team struggled on Sunday against # 7 Michigan, as the Flames were downed, 215.05-203.3 at Cliff Keen Arena.

    Matt Musielak led the UIC attach by winning the floor competition with a score of 9.2. The junior was also fifth on high bar (8.45).

    Freshman Eric Novick emerged in Ann Arbor, tying for the win on pommels with a score of 9.0.

    Neil Faustino was solid with three top-five tallies on his way to a runner-up finish in the all-around competition (50.8).

    The Flames will take this weekend off before heading east to take on Southern Connecticut on February 14, and Springfield College on February 16.
