#12 Men's Gymnastics Knocked Off By #3 Ohio State, 210.65-207.6|

Columbus, Ohio - The UIC men's gymnastics team put up its highest score in well over a year, but couldn't topple #3 Ohio State on Saturday in Columbus.
The Buckeyes came out on top, 210.65-207.6, as the #12 Flames were led by sophomore Neil Faustino.
Faustino finished second in the all-around with a tally of 52.65, a new career-high. Faustino also won the vault competition with an excellent score of 9.25, and was second on rings (9.4) and floor (9.0).
Matt Musielak also had a nice showing, winning the pommel horse event with a score of 8.75. The Flames took the top-four places on pommels, with Nick Stavros (8.5), Eric Novick (8.35) and Faustino (8.35) following Musielak.
Jonathan Joyce also helped the Flames cause, with a second-place finish on high bar (9.0).
The Flames return to action next Sunday, February 2, when they travel to Michigan to tangle with the Wolverines at 3:00 p.m.
