2003 Notes: Competed in all events for the Flames in a standout junior campaign...lone UIC performer to qualify for the NCAA Individual Championship event finals, tying for 43rd nationally on the high bar...advanced to the individual finals with a season-high tying score of 9.00, good for 12th place, at the NCAA Regional Qualifying Championships...also qualified for regionals in the floor exercise, pommel horse and parallel bars...took home the high bar title at the ECAC championships with a score of 9.00...tied for first on the parallel bars versus Illinois with a score of 8.70 on February 22nd...recorded a trio of first place finishes on the pommel horse, taking home top honors versus Ohio State (8.75), Springfield (9.0) and with a season-high score of 9.2 on the event versus Air Force on March 2nd...placed first on the floor exercise at Michigan (9.20) and in a triangular meet versus Temple and Navy (9.15)...recorded a season-high score of 9.3 on the floor exercise in a second place finish versus Illinois.

2002 Notes: Had a standout meet versus James Madison, taking first in the parallel bars with a season-high 8.75 while placing second on the high bar (8.4) and pommel horse (8.6)...won the pommel horse competition versus Illinois on Feb. 10, with a season-high score of 9.1.

2001 Notes: Missed a majority of the season due to mononucleosis...placed 10th overall at the ECAC championships on the parallel bars (7.65)...turned in two of UIC's top performances at the Windy City Invitational on the pommel horse (8.25) and parallel bars (8.3)...placed first on the pommel horse (8.95) and second on the floor exercise (8.75) against Ohio State on January 22nd...captured horizontal bar titles against Air Force on February 2nd (8.45) and February 4th (8.75)...earned UIC's top finish on the parallel bars (8.3) against Michigan State on January 27th.

Prep/Personal: Competed for the World Class Gymnastics club team in Swansea, IL...holds every club record...five-time Junior Olympics finish in the Junior Olympics was 26th in the all-around competition...four-time Academic All-American...captured the 2000 Class I Illinois State championships in the floor exercise and the pommel horse...claimed the all-around championship along with the floor exercise and parallel bars titles at the 1999 USAG state tournament...won the USAG Region 5 High-Bar championship in 1998...selected as an All-American in the pommel horse at the 1996 Junior Olympics Nationals...won the USAG Region 5 all-around championship in 1994...also excelled as a midfielder for two years at Althoff Catholic...born December 23, 1981...son of Ronald and Debra Musielak...major is bioengineering.
