1999: One of UIC's top still ring performers…Qualified for 1999 NCAA Eastern Regionals, bringing home a 26th-place finish in the rings with a score of 9.400…finished first in the rings in seven different meets for UIC…took first place on the rings against No. 2 Michigan in Ann Arbor with a 9.650…earned UIC's top score of the season and matched a school record on the still rings with a score of 9.850 at William & Mary…took first on the rings in five consecutive meets, winning the event against Michigan, Michigan State (twice), Illinois and at a double-dual meet against Air Force and Washington…pulled down a score of 9.800 in the rings at UIC's double-dual meet against Air Force and Washington in Colorado Springs…followed up that performance with another 9.800 performance on the rings at home against seventh-ranked Michigan State…earned a first place rings finish against national perennial power Ohio State with a 9.750.
1998: Placed first at home on the rings versus Michigan State with a 9.650…took first at Minnesota on the rings with a 9.550…set a career high on the rings with a 9.800 at New Mexico, finishing in third…grabbed fifth at the NCAA East Regional on the rings with a score of 9.725.
1997: Did not compete in any meets after suffering a neck injury and was given a medical redshirt for the year and will retain three years of eligibility.
1996: Practiced with the squad during his rookie season, but did not see any meet action. Personal/Prep: Lettered two years as a gymnast at Lyons Township High School as an all-arounder…was a sectional qualifier in both 1994 and 1995…a 1995 All-American on the still rings…majoring in Education…born September 14, 1977…son of Ben D'Antino and Brad and Maria Davis.
