2001 Highlights: Battled injuries throughout season and competed in only two meets…recorded season-high score of 7.65 on still rings to help UIC to a 203.75-199.05 victory over Air Force on February 4th. Prep/Personal: Comes to UIC after a standout career with the Hoffman Estates Hawks…owns school records for the floor exercise (9.750), vault (9.650), parallel bars (9.700), pommel horse (9.650), still rings (9.800) and all-around (57.250)…was the Mid-Suburban League conference champion on every event except the high bar as a senior…helped the Hawks to the MSL meet championship and their first-ever state championship appearance…set a school record and placed first overall on the still rings with a 9.800 and captured third place on the pommel horse with a 9.650 and third in the all around competition at the individual state meet…scored a 57.250 in the all-around competition and helped Hoffman Estates set a new team school record (159.850) at the team state meet…named the Hoffman Estates Athlete of the Year…finished first on the pommel horse, second on the floor exercise and parallel bars and third on both the still rings and vault at the national high school meet…born May 7, 1982…son of Robin and Sheila Allin…majoring in Kinesiology.
