The Flames (4-6, 0-1) will be vying for victory in one of the toughest road venues in the league as the Titans (3-7, 0-0) have won 90 of their last 100 games at Calihan Hall.

Detroit, which is coming off a loss at Chicago State on Dec. 23rd, owns a 16-6 lead in the all-time series with the Flames and is the only Horizon League team UIC failed to defeat last season en route to its school-record 24 wins.

Senior Cedrick Banks leads the Flames on the court and is averaging 16.9 points and 5.1 rebounds in seven career meetings with Detroit.

This contest also features a battle between the Horizon League's two longest tenured coaches in Jimmy Collins and Perry Watson. The duo has combined for over 350 wins and 21 years of service at their respective schools.

The Flames follow their tilt with the Titans with stops at Youngstown State on January 3rd, and Loyola on January 6th.
