UIC & DePaul To Host Men's Basketball Doubleheader|

Chicago, Ill. - The University of Illinois at Chicago and DePaul University men's basketball programs will team up on Saturday, Dec. 9, to host a pair of intrastate rivals at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill.
The Flames (3-3) will open the matinee with a 2:00 p.m. tip against Southern Illinois (3-2). DePaul (3-2) will follow up with a 4:30 p.m. showdown against Chicago State (1-4). Both games will air live on Fox Sports Chicago.
UIC and the Salukis have met only three previous times with Southern holding a 2-1 lead in the series. When the squads met last year at the UIC Pavilion, SIU overcame a 31-19 halftime deficit and outscored the Flames 46-27 in the second half en route to a 65-58 victory.
This season, UIC is off to a 3-3 start with wins over Texas-San Antonio, Northern Illinois and Drake all at the UIC Pavilion. Senior guard Joel Bullock, who missed most of the `99-00 campaign with a heart ailment, leads the Flames this season with an average of 10.3 ppg.
