    The University of Illinois at Chicago men's basketball team will hit the airwaves a minimum of five times this season on Fox Sports Chicago and WJYS-Channel 62 it was announced today.

    Fox Sports Chicago will broadcast UIC home outings with intrastate rival Southern Illinois on December 11 at 2:00 p.m., and league foes Wright State on January 29 at 8:00 p.m. and Loyola on February 19 at 3:00 p.m. The Flames' crosstown visit to Loyola on January 22 will also be televised live on Fox Sports Chicago at 3:00 p.m.

    The Midwestern Collegiate Conference, which returns to the UIC Pavilion for a second straight year in March, will feature the quarterfinal and semifinal games on WJYS-Channel 62 while the championship game on March 7 will once again be broadcast live on ESPN as part of its "Championship Week."
