Chicago, Ill.- Fresh off its season-opening win over Bradley this past Saturday, the UIC men's basketball team will host UIS this Tuesday night at the Pavilion.

Tip-off for the game is slated for 7:00 p.m.

This will be the first-ever meeting between the Flames (1-0) and the Prairie Stars (2-2).

The Flames enter the game following a huge 84-75 victory over in-state rival Bradley at the Pavilion. In front of an electric crowd of 6,080, Josh Mayo scored a career-high 34 points to spur a fine start to the 2007-08 season for UIC.

UIC shot a blistering 69 percent (9-for-13) from behind the arc against the Braves.

UIS, based in the state capital of Springfield, is an NAIA program and is part of the University of Illinois system.

After Tuesday's game the Flames won't be back at the Pavilion until Dec. 6th against Milwaukee. UIC will embark on a season-long five-game road swing that begins with a trio of contests at the 2007 U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam this weekend.
