Moore to Appear on CPS Sports Edition Saturday, Sunday Morning|

CHICAGO - UIC head men's basketball coach Howard Moore will appear on "CPS Sports Edition" with host Kenny McReynolds on both Saturday and Sunday morning this weekend. The program will air on "MeTV" Saturday beginning at 7 a.m. CST, and "TheUToo" Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. Moore, a native of the Windy City, enters his third year at the helm of the Flames in 2012-13.
MeTV can be found on channel 223 and 357 on Comcast, channel 14 on RCN, channel 23 on both DISH Network and DirecTV, channels 17 and 19 on WOW, and channel 23 on AT&T U-Verse. "TheUToo" is available on channels 248 and 360 on Comcast, channel 35 on RCN and channel 170 on WOW. On the City of Chicago cable channels, the program will air on channel 23 on Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning at 9:30 a.m., and channel 49 Friday-Sunday beginning at 5:30 p.m.
CPS Sports Edition is a weekly program featuring McReynolds going one-on-one with the coaches, student champions and professional sports personalities who all play a role in the tradition of sports excellence in Chicago.
This season, UIC will return four starters from the 2011-12 campaign, including the highest-scoring returning backcourt in the Horizon League. The Flames will begin official practices next Friday, Oct. 12, and will open the regular season on Sunday, Nov. 11 versus UC Riverside.
