Chicago, Ill.- The UIC Athletic Ticket Office has made a limited number of full season scholarship floor seats available for sale to new season ticket customers for the 2008-09 men's basketball season.

Floor seats are the best seats inside the new-look UIC Pavilion, which now features a brand-new video board and ribbon board to give fans a unique college basketball viewing experience.

Just inches from the court, full scholarship floor seats allow Flames fans to catch the action up-close all year long while helping the UIC Athletics Team Big Red scholarship program.

These seats will go fast, so call the UIC Athletics Ticket Office at (312) 413-8421 to ensure your front-row seat to every UIC Flames men's basketball game this season.

UIC will host crosstown rival DePaul in an early-season marquee matchup on Saturday, Nov. 22. Other opponents on the home slate include Loyola, Butler, Cleveland State, Wright State and Valparaiso.

Other season ticket options are also available to the general public. Fans can choose from a full season lower level season ticket package, weekend or weeknight partial season ticket plan and a premium games value plan that includes tickets to the DePaul, Loyola, Butler and ESPNU BracketBuster games.

The Flames feature sharp-shooting senior guard Josh Mayo, the Horizon League's top returning scorer, and seven-foot senior center Scott VanderMeer, the Horizon League's top returning rebounder and shot blocker.

Joining the Flames' mix will be a highly-regarded recruiting class that features Chicago products Jelani Poston, Zavion Neely and DeMarkus Isom-Jones and junior college standout Robert Eppinger.

Flames fans had plenty to cheer for at the Pavilion last season, as UIC went 12-2 at home.
