    CHICAGO- Senior guards Robo Kreps and Jimmy Harding and graduated forward Jeremy Buttell of the UIC men's basketball team were recognized for their academic strengths by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) on Monday, July 12 with spots on the 2009-10 NABC Honors Court.

    According to the NABC, qualifications for the NABC Honors Court are:

    1. Must be a junior or senior and a varsity player
    2. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher (4.0 scale) at the conclusion of the 2009-10 academic year
    3. Must be at current institution at least one year
    4. Current institution must be a member of NCAA Division I, II, III or NAIA

    Buttell graduated with a master of education in instructional leadership this past May. Kreps is an exercise and fitness major, while Harding majors in engineering.
