CHICAGO- UIC associate head coach Tracy Dildy was selected as one of Hoop Scoop's Top 50 Mid-Major Assistants in the April 2010 issue of Basketball Times.

Dildy was ranked third on the list, compiled by college basketball recruiting expert Clark Francis.

This is the third time that Dildy has been recognized for his coaching acumen since he returned to UIC in 2007. He was named the top mid-major assistant by Hoop Scoop in 2008 and was honored as one of the top 25 mid-major assistant coaches by CollegeInsider.com last summer.

Dildy just completed his third season on the bench at UIC and his first as associate head coach. He is also the Flames' recruiting coordinator.

A 1991 graduate of UIC, Dildy enters his 20th season of Division I college basketball coaching. He began his career as an undergraduate assistant coach on UIC Athletics Hall of Famer Bob Hallberg's Flames staff in the 1990-91 campaign.
