Men's Basketball Draws Milwaukee In Horizon League First Round

CHICAGO- The pairing for the 2010 Speedway Horizon League Men's Basketball Championship were officially released late Saturday night, and the Flames will meet Milwaukee in the first round at U.S. Cellular Arena in Milwaukee, Wis. on Tuesday, March 2 at 7 p.m. Central. The ninth-seeded Flames (8-21, 3-15 Horizon League) and the fourth-seeded Panthers (18-13, 10-8 Horizon League) will meet for the second time in four days. Milwaukee withstood UIC's rally from a 16-point deficit for a 78-74 win at the UIC Pavilion on Saturday. The winner will face the winner of the Loyola-Cleveland State first round game in a second round contest at Butler's Hinkle Fieldhouse on Friday, March 5 at 7 p.m. Central. First and second round games of the 2010 Speedway Horizon League Men's Basketball Championship will be streamed live online at horizonleaguenetwork.tv. Tuesday's game between the Flames and the Panthers is slated to air live on ESPN Radio 1000 AM, with Adam Levinson and Kenny Williams courtside to call the action.
