Chicago, Ill.- The regular season winds down this weekend for the UIC men's basketball team with a pair of Horizon League games in Wisconsin on tap, beginning with a Thursday night meeting at Green Bay.

The Flames (15-13, 8-8 Horizon League) and the Phoenix (13-14, 7-9 Horizon League) tip at 7 p.m. Central inside the Resch Center.

Adam Levinson and Kenny McReynolds will call the action live on WIND 560 AM.

The fourth seed in the Horizon League standings is still within the Flames' sights. A win on Thursday would guarantee a home game for UIC in the first round of the Horizon League Tournament on March 4.

UIC won the first meeting against Green Bay on Dec. 8, as Josh Mayo scored 32 points in the Flames' 76-67 victory at the Pavilion.

Defense continues to be an improved facet for the Flames. In the last six contests UIC is allowing just 56.2 points per game after giving up an average of 68.2 points per game in its first 22 outings of the year.
