Chicago, Ill. - The UIC men's basketball team closes out the 2004-05 regular season on Saturday afternoon when they travel to Hinkle Fieldhouse to take on Butler at 11:00 a.m.

The game will be aired live on Fox Sports Net or Flames fans can listen in to Dave Wills and Dick Nagy on ESPN Radio 1000 AM.

UIC (14-12, 8-7), which has won its last two games, heads into Saturday's tilt with the Bulldogs (12-14, 6-9) with plenty on the line. The Flames could still end up as high as the No. 3 seed in next week's American Family Insurance Horizon League Tournament with a win and a Detroit loss, but could also slip down as far as the No. 5 seed with a loss to the Bulldogs.

The No. 3 seed would earn UIC an opening-round tournament bye while finishing at No. 4 or No. 5 would put the Flames at the Pavilion on Tuesday, March 1st, at 7:00 p.m. for an opening-round game.

Coming off his career-high 39-point effort versus Wright State on Wednesday, senior Cedrick Banks now needs just one point to tie and two points to pass Kenny Williams (2,025 points) for the career scoring record at UIC.

Banks is averaging almost 27 points per game in his last five outings.

UIC has won its last four meetings with Butler, including its last two trips to Hinkle Fieldhouse.
