Chicago, Ill.- The UIC men's basketball team heads to Cedar Falls, Iowa for a meeting with Northern Iowa this Saturday, Feb. 23 as part of the O'Reilly ESPNU BracketBusters event.

The Flames (14-13) and the Panthers (15-12) will begin their clash at 7:05 p.m. at the McLeod Center. Adam Levinson will call the action live on uicflames.com through Stretch Internet Radio.

This is the sixth straight year that UIC has taken part in BracketBusters. The Flames are 4-1 in BracketBuster games.

Following a last-minute loss to No. 8 Butler in front of a packed house at the UIC Pavilion, the Flames will seek to get back on track and snap a three-game losing skid.

The Panthers will be a tough test, despite their recent slide of losses in four of their last five games. UNI is 10-5 at home this season.

UIC and UNI have not met since the 1990-91 campaign, back when the two schools were Mid-Continent Conference foes. The Flames are 9-10 all-time against the Panthers.

Junior guard Josh Mayo continues to lead the UIC attack with an average of 18.0 points per game.

The Flames' defense has stiffened over the course of the last five games. UIC is allowing just 55.8 points per game during that span, including a season-low of 51 points allowed to the eighth-ranked Bulldogs on Feb. 20.
