Chicago, Ill. - The UIC men's basketball team will try and snap the nation's second-longest home winning streak on Wednesday evening when the Flames take on Horizon League-leading UW-Milwaukee at 7:00 p.m. at US Cellular Arena.

The game will be aired live on ESPN Radio 1000 AM. Fans can also watch the game live via the internet by clicking on the Horizon League All-Access link on the front page of uicflames.com.

The Panthers (18-6, 11-3) have won their last 19 games at US Cellular Arena and can clinch at least a share of the Horizon League regular-season title with a win over UIC (12-13, 5-8).

This is the start of a three-game road trip for the Flames, who will take on Ohio Valley Conference leader Murray State on Saturday, Feb. 18th, and then Cleveland State on Feb. 22nd, before returning to the Pavilion on Feb. 25th to wrap up the regular season versus Wright State.

UIC enters the tilt with UWM having won four of its last six games with road wins at Wright State and Youngstown State during that stretch.

A win by UIC on Wednesday would get the team back into a position to host a first-round game in the Horizon League Tournament. The Flames currently sit in seventh-place in the league, but just one game in the loss column out of fourth.

UW-Milwaukee has won the last three games in the series with UIC's last victory over the Panthers coming in the 2004 Horizon League Tournament title game at US Cellular Arena.

The contest features a reunion of two old high school teammates in UW-Milwaukee's Boo Davis and UIC's Justin Bowen. Both starred at Chicago's Marshall High School and both are now among the Horizon League leaders in scoring with Davis averaging 15.3 points per game and Bowen 15.4 ppg.
