UIC Men's Basketball Game Notes in PDF Format Get Acrobat Reader

Chicago, Ill.- The UIC men's basketball team takes a three-game winning streak into Monday night's Horizon League collision against Valparaiso at the UIC Pavilion.

Tip between the Flames (13-10, 7-5 Horizon League) and the Crusaders (14-9, 5-6 Horizon League) is set for 7 p.m.

Adam Levinson and Kenny McReynolds will have the call live on WIND 560 AM. The game will also be broadcast on Lakeshore Public Television and webcast on the Horizon League Network.

UIC notched its third straight win with a 60-55 decision over crosstown rival Loyola at the Gentile Center on Saturday night.

The Flames have also won their last three games at home. UIC is 10-1 at the Pavilion thus far this season.

Junior guard Josh Mayo continues to be the Flames' go-to guy. He scored 18 of his game-high 21 points in the second half against the Ramblers on Saturday to up his team-leading average to 18.5 ppg.

Junior center Scott VanderMeer has had strong numbers on the boards of late, averaging 11.3 rebounds per game in eight outings since Jan. 12.

Senior guard Karl White Jr. is averaging 11.0 ppg in his last three games, including an 11-point outing in just 12 minutes off the bench against Loyola on Saturday.
