Chicago, Ill. - The UIC men's basketball team hits the road for another critical Horizon League contest on Wednesday night as the Flames invade the Nutter Center to take on Wright State at 6:00 p.m. CST.

The game can be heard live via the internet at uicflames.com with Dave Wills and Dick Nagy bringing you all the action.

The Flames (9-8, 4-3) and Raiders (9-9, 4-3) are part of a three-way tie for third place in the Horizon League with Detroit, which hosts second-place UW-Green Bay on Wednesday night. The Phoenix is one game ahead of all three schools at 5-2.

This is the 28th all-time meeting between UIC and Wright State with the Flames owning a 16-11 edge in the series.

Senior Cedrick Banks has always performed well in the Nutter Center, averaging 24.7 points in his three prior trips while shooting 46% from the field and 63% from three-point range.

UIC will also hope to continue getting strong play from point guard Rocky Collum, who is averaging 12.3 points and 4.8 assists in his last four games.

Wright State will counter with a young and talented squad led by sophomore point guard DaShaun Wood. The Detroit, Mich., native is averaging 14.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.
