Chicago, Ill. - The UIC men's basketball team looks to get back on the winning track on Sunday afternoon as the Flames travel to Rogers Park to take on city rival Loyola at 3:00 p.m., in a key Horizon League contest. The game will be aired live on ESPNU while fans can also listen to the home broadcast via the internet at uicflames.com. The Flames (8-8, 1-3) have dropped three straight decisions and are trying to avoid their first four-game skid since the 2000-01 campaign. The Ramblers (9-6, 1-4) enter on a four-game losing streak of their own and open a six-game homestand on Sunday by hosting UIC. The Flames own a 22-10 advantage in the all-time series with Loyola, including wins in their last three trips to the Gentile Center. Head Coach Jimmy Collins boasts a 15-5 mark in games versus the Ramblers with the 15 victories the most versus any single opponent. UIC is looking to avenge last season's Horizon League Tournament loss to the Ramblers in which Blake Schilb scored a career-high 39 points in Loyola's overtime triumph. Senior Justin Bowen continues to lead the Flames' attack, leading the team in scoring (16.0 ppg) and rebounding (7.6). He will be countered by All-Horizon League First Team honoree Schilb, who is tallying 17.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per outing this season.
