CLEVELAND- The UIC men's basketball team squares off against preseason Horizon League favorite Cleveland State inside the Wolstein Center this Saturday night.

Tip between the Flames (8-6, 1-3 Horizon League) and the Vikings (12-5, 3-2 Horizon League) is slated for 6:30 p.m. Central. Adam Levinson and UIC legend Kenny Williams have the call live on 560 AM WIND.

UIC will seek to snap a three-game skid against a Cleveland State squad that has won seven of its last eight games.

Both teams have marquee road wins over BCS schools this season, with the Flames defeating Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech and the Vikings being the only team to beat Syracuse thus far.

The Flames have won five of their last six against Cleveland State at what is now called the Wolstein Center.

UIC continues to be paced by its pair of seniors, as guard Josh Mayo leads the Horizon League in scoring (19.5 ppg) while center Scott VanderMeer tops the league in rebounding (9.1 rpg) and blocked shots (2.9 bpg).
