Chicago, Ill. - The UIC men's basketball team meets its longest standing rival on Wednesday night when the Flames travel to take on UW-Green Bay at the Resch Center. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. and fans can listen to the game live via the web at ESPNRadio1000.com or can watch live by clicking on the Horizon League All-Access link on the front page of uicflames.com. This is the 70th all-time meeting between UIC (8-7, 1-2) and UW-Green Bay (6-9, 0-3) on the hardwood with the two teams playing at least once every year since the 1970-71 season. The Phoenix holds a 38-31 advantage in the all-time series, but the Flames have won six of the last eight encounters and own a 2-1 record at the Resch Center. Both UIC and UW-Green Bay are looking to snap two-game losing streaks. The Flames dropped decisions to Butler and UW-Milwaukee last week while the Phoenix fell to Detroit and Youngstown State. Senior Justin Bowen continues to pace UIC's attack. The 6-foot-7 senior is the team leader in scoring (15.9 ppg) and rebounding (7.5 rpg) and ranks fifth in the Horizon League in each category. Junior Ryan Evanochko leads a relatively young UW-Green Bay squad that features three freshmen in its starting rotation. Evanochko averages 14.3 point per game for the Phoenix, who own an impressive 5-1 record at home with the lone blemish coming to nationally ranked Michigan State.
