Men's Basketball Looks For Second Straight Win At Loyola

Chicago, Ill. - The UIC men's basketball team looks to level its Horizon League record this season as the Flames conlcude a three-game road trip at city-rival Loyola on Thursday night at the Gentile Center.
Tip off is set for 7:00 p.m. with the game being aired live on Comcast Sportsnet and ESPN Radio 1000 AM.
The Flames (5-7, 1-2), who are coming off a 62-56 victory at Youngstown State on Monday night, have won the last six meetings with the Ramblers (3-9, 1-1) and nine of the last 10 confrontations in the all-time series.
UIC senior Cedrick Banks has especially enjoyed success versus Loyola, as he owns a 6-1 record against the Ramblers averaging 21.7 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists while shooting 54% from the field and 56% from three-point range.
The Ramblers also enter on a winning note, having defeated Cleveland State, 70-55, on Monday night at the Gentile Center to snap an eight-game losing streak.
