2001-02 Highlights: ?The Sheriff? saw action in 27 games in his first season in a UIC uniform and was a vital cog in the Flames? run to the NCAA Tournament...averaged 1.6 points and 1.9 rebounds per contest on the year...came alive the last five games averaging 4.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per outing...had a career game in the UIC?s Horizon League Tournament quarterfinal win over UW-Milwaukee on March 2, tallying personal bests with seven points and nine rebounds...tabbed four points and two boards in UIC?s semifinal triumph over Detroit on March 3...tabbed five points and five rebounds in the Flames? title game victory over Loyola on March 5...netted two points and grabbed a rebound versus #3 Oklahoma in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament...scored six points (3-for-3 FG) and snagged four rebounds at Butler on Feb. 23...scored three points and collected three rebounds, all offensive, in UIC?s win over UW-Green Bay on Feb. 9...tabbed two points and three rebounds at South Florida on Dec. 29...snagged three rebounds in UIC?s win over Hofstra on Dec. 28...tallied four points (2-for-2 FG) and three rebounds in nine minutes of action versus North Central (Ill.) on Dec. 8...snagged four rebounds in UIC?s triumph over Evansville on Nov. 27.

2000-01 Highlights: Sat out the season due to NCAA Transfer guidelines.

Prior to UIC: Began his collegiate career at UW-Milwaukee ? in his first of action in 1998-99 he played in 12 games while earning the starting nod against Missouri-Kansas City on Dec. 12 ? averaged 5.4 minutes a game with 0.8 ppg and 0.5 rpg ? tallied a season-high four points in just three minutes of action versus the Detroit Titans on Jan. 28 ? collected a career-best two rebounds against Northwestern on Dec. 14 while also putting in a pair of points on two free throws ? tallied two points versus Trinity International on Dec. 29.

Prep/Personal Highlights: Attended Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Va., which was ranked the #1 prep team in the nation ? averaged 12.0 ppg and 10.0 rpg ? also played football, baseball and golf in high school ? born August 3, 1978 ? son of Terry and Michelle Kickert ? majoring in business.
