    Flames will look to win seventh-straight home opener

    Prep/Prior to UIC: Four-year letterwinner at both Princeton Day Academy (Va.) and Cosby High School (Va.), and played one year of postgraduate basketball at Fishburne Military Academy ... Teammates with fellow freshman Jake Wiegand at Fishburne ... Led Fishburne to a 22-8 record last season ... Following his senior year at Princeton Day Academy, took part in the Prince George County All-Star game, where he led all scorers with 25 points ... Coming out of high school, was tabbed a three-star recruit by ESPN.com, and was the nation's 26th-ranked center ... Played AAU Basketball for Team Loaded and the Baltimore Under Armour Panthers ... Also drew recruiting interest from Hofstra and UAB ... Grew two inches during his senior year of high school.
