2001-02 Highlights: Appeared in all 34 games as a rookie, getting the starting nod in one outing...finished the year averaging 6.2 points and 4.0 rebounds per game...broke double figures in scoring seven times during the season...ranked fourth on the team in rebounding...shot 51% from the field on the year...grabbed career-high tying eight rebounds versus UW-Milwaukee on March 2 in the quarterfinals of the 2002 Horizon League Tournament...snagged six boards and tabbed four points in UIC's title-game victory over Loyola on March 5...came off the bench to tally 13 points and six boards versus UW-Green Bay on Feb. 9...tied his career best with eight rebounds versus Wright St. on Jan. 28...scored 16 points in the Flames win over Texas A&M on Dec. 20 while also leading the team with seven rebounds...recorded 13 points in UIC's loss to Miss. Prep/Personal Highlights: As a senior at Austin High School, he led the Tigers with averages of 18.0 ppg, 11.0 rpg and 3.0 blocked shots ... also added 4.2 assists and 4.5 steals while shooting 64% from the field, 40% from three-point range and 65% at the charity stripe ... best game of the year came against Near North High School as he finished the night with career-highs of 34 points, 17 rebounds and eight blocked shots ... following the season, he was named to the Chicago Sun-Times All-Public League Fourth Team as well as the Chicago Public League Red-West All-Section squad ... captured the Illinois High School Association Slam Dunk title ... in May 2000, played for Team Chicago in the Wendy's All-Star Shootout and contributed 10 points to the 93-74 victory over Team New York ... as a junior, he totalled 17.1 ppg and 11.4 rpg while helping Austin to a 26-4 overall record ... shot 57% from the field, 40% from three-point range and 63% at the free throw line ... also contributed 3.4 assists, 5.6 steals and a total of 127 blocked shots ... season-highs of 21 points, 11 rebounds and 10 blocked shots came in an outing against Washington High School ... born February 28, 1982 ... son of Armond Williams and Diane Williams.
