CHICAGO - The UIC baseball team showed their Halloween spirit this past Saturday as they held a costume scrimmage on Les Miller Field.  Players and coaches dressed up in their favorite Halloween outfit and took the diamond for their weekly self-scrimmage.  The event was hosted in conjunction with Fall Family Day in which Flames' family members were on hand to witness the game and have lunch cooked and served to them by the squad.

"The purpose of the scrimmage was to not only have fun, but to re-enforce the message of acting differently than how you feel." said head coach Mike Dee.  "Presenting good body language and forcing them to be in character was a fun way to reiterate that message."

Some of the more notable characters on field were head coach Mike Dee dressed as Santa Claus, junior John Coen sporting a bumble bee suit and junior Collin Weyer donning an Incredible Hulk costume.
