CHICAGO – UIC Head Baseball Coach Mike Dee finalized the Flames’ 2015 roster with signing of three players on Tuesday afternoon.  Noah Masa (RHP, 5-8, 170), Danny Riley (C, 5-11, 195) and Connor Ryan (RHP, 6-1, 175) join fellow newcomers Trevor Lane, Jake Dahlberg, Connor Rolain, Rob Calabrese and Austin Batka to make up the 2015 recruiting class.

“We are very excited about all three of these players,” said Dee.  “Noah, Danny and Connor complete a very talented newcomer class that will no doubt help improve our ball club.”

Masa (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport) joins UIC following his senior year in which he went 5-4 with an ERA of 2.17. The right-hander posted 72 strike outs and allowed just 37 hits across 61.1 innings. Ryan was named All-Conference (Southwest Suburban) and was All-Area Honorable Mention this past season.

Riley (Naperville, Ill./Naperville North) hit .359 with 12 doubles for a .538 slugging percentage last season. Riley was named All-Conference in the DuPage Valley Conference for his senior campaign.

Ryan (Homer Glen, Ill./Prairie State College) will be a sophomore next season after competing one year at Prairie State College.  He was elected All-Conference in the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference and All-Region with the Pioneers.  Last season Ryan had a record of 8-4 with three saves and a 2.05 ERA, while striking out 69 in 57 innings pitched.
