MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - The UIC baseball team will be back on the diamond this afternoon when they travel to take on the Central Michigan Chippewas at 2:00 p.m. CT.

This is the fourth meeting between the Flames and Chippewas with Central Michigan maintaining a 2-1 edge in the series. UIC won last year’s ballgame, 5-4, on April 15th. In that game, lefty Michael Heesch moved his record to a perfect 3-0.

Even though the Flames are not in Chicago today, you can still follow all the action live. You can listen to Central Michigan’s radio broadcast for free of watch the television feed which has a subscription fee associated with it. Livestats will also be available at the start of the game.

After today, UIC will return home for a five-game homestand at The Mill beginning on Friday when they welcome the Butler Bulldogs for a three-game set. The Flames will entertain the Western Michigan Broncos on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. and close with the Chippewas on Wednesday.
