Chicago, Ill. - The UIC baseball game with Winona State scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday has been cancelled due to anticipated poor playing conditions.

With weather forecasts calling for temperatures in the 40's and high winds, the coaches of both schools agreed to call the outing and save Winona State the 12-hour trip.

UIC is scheduled to return to action on Wednesday when Chicago State visits Les Miller Field for a 6:00 p.m. contest. The Flames will then open up the 2000 MCC schedule this weekend with the Wright State Raiders in town.
